Round Loch Ness Day Tour from Inverness

Our tour starts from Inverness and we are immediately blessed with awesome views of the world famous Loch Ness.

We are going to enthrall you with the legend of our famous Loch Ness monster. However, if you’d like to pop into the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition Centre to find out even more the just let us know when booking!

Our tour then heads to Urquhart Castle, where you have the chance to visit one of Scotland’s most famous and romantic attractions. A fantastic audio visual presentation sets up the castle’s history, then you are free to explore its history-steeped ruins. The views of Loch Ness here are also amazing so you are in for a treat!

Our next stop is Invermoriston, home to some friendly Highland Cows as well as a magnificent river which is spanned by an impressive 19th Century Thomas Telford bridge.

Historic Fort Augustus is a great place to watch boats make their way up and down the locks of the Caledonian Canal, as well as get great views of Loch Ness.

We will get some awesome views of Loch Ness on the way round but there is no better way of getting to know the Loch than an exhilarating rib boat ride (or if you’d like something more sedate perhaps a gentle cruise would be more your style!).

The Falls of Foyers is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the area and is well worth visiting after heavy rainfall (which, as you can imagine, is quite often in the Scottish Highlands!)

Our tour of Loch Ness concludes with a visit to the village of Dores, where we are treated to amazing views of the Loch. Not only that, legendary Nessie Hunter Steve Feltham lives here and is usually on hand to sell you one of his hand made Nessie models and answer his most asked questions of ‘have you seen it yet?’!
