This tour starts off in Inverness before heading down the Great Glen and alongside the world famous Loch Ness. We will stop for  some photo opportunities en-route, all whilst keeping our eyes peeled for the elusive Loch Ness monster!

Our tour then heads to Urquhart Castle, where you have the chance to visit one of Scotland’s most famous and romantic attractions. A fantastic audio visual presentation sets up the castles history then you are free to explore its history steeped ruins. The views of Loch Ness here are also amazing so you are in for a treat!

We then head down Glen Urquhart and visit Corrimony Cairns, a 4000 year old pre-historic burial chamber surrounded by standing stones. This gives you a fascinating insight into the ways of the early people that inhabited the Highlands. It also boasts the distinction of being one of the best preserved sites of it’s kind in the local area so is well worth a visit!

The tour then heads through the sleepy village of Tomich and onto the wonderful Plodda Falls. The falls drop 151 foot (46 metres) which makes them one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Scotland. The views are spectacular and there is a viewing platform that goes up and over the falls to add to the experience! 

The highlight of our tour is Glen Affric, a place of incredible natural beauty. There are native Scots pine forests, rivers, waterfalls and mountains. There are some short hikes that can take you to some amazing view points!

A 25 minute mini-hike takes us through ancient woodland and along the banks of the River Affric.

There are a plethora of wonderful water features in Glen Affric, and Dog Falls is one of our favourite. Just a short distance from the road, this is a spot that is well worth stopping for a photo at!

After a wonderful day out exploring Glen Affric and Loch Ness there is still time left to explore the picturesque village of Beauly. Here you can explore the 700 year old Beauly Priory and take a wander around this quaint Highland village.
