WOW Scotland has, “The Best Isle of Skye Tour in Scotland“!  Well, they would say that, we hear you say!  However, it would not be blog-worthy if we were saying it, now would it?!  We have hosted a few bloggers on our tours this year and that is a quote from one of them – as they are all prolific travellers we will happily take their word for it!  You can read lots about our Ultimate Isle of Skye Tour on our website but we thought it’d be interesting to provide some pretty detailed accounts of the tour from the travel experts.  Read on to find out who they are, and what they had to say about their WOW experiences.

Live and love local

Victoria and Scott of The Aye Life are fellow Scots who explore Scotland, photograph it, write about it and absolutely love it..it was great to meet people whose passion for Scotland rivals our own!  They travel in search of “coorie and craic” (coorie being the Scottish equivalent of the much-bandied about Scandivanian concept of Hygge, meaning cosiness, and craic being general fun and laughs).  Of course they found that in bucket-loads on our Skye tour, and Victoria’s blog provides an amusing and witty account of their day.  Her conclusion, on what she says is her 542nd trip to Skye (!!) is that “WOW is a cracking wee tour company. The best thing about them is that they are Highlanders through and through. And Highlanders know secrets.”  Just don’t get us started on whose banter is best…

First time to Skye, and what a first time it was!

Taylor is an Australian blogger, photographer and social media content creator who lives in London, and who came out on our Ultimate Isle of Skye Tour in August 2020.  It was her first time visiting Skye and she had an absolutely wonderful experience.  Her blog provides an accurate account of the day, with plenty of observations about each of the stops, as well as recommendations of what to bring, wear and eat along the way.  Her highlight was the Quiraing, where she says she could have spent days…we are confident that she will be back to tour with us again next year!
