Hello and welcome to WOW Scotland, an independent tour company located in Inverness in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland.

WOW Scotland is run by husband and wife team  Gordon & Kay Pearson and, since our inception in 2010, we have been consistently rated as one of the top tour guiding businesses in Scotland on TripAdvisor.

We have a great passion for showcasing the Highlands, and aim to provide each and every one of our customers with a world-class tourism experience. All of our guides share our passion and enthusiasm for excellence, and we all strive to make our customers’ dreams come true.

We hope we will be able to welcome you out on a tour very soon. Whatever your dreams of the Highlands – WOW Scotland can make them come true!

THE WOW Factor!

We are confident that we can offer all of our customers a fantastic product, but we know that you might well be comparing our offering to that of our competitors.  For that reason, we have put together our top 10 reasons why we think you should book your tour with us;

  1. Amazing guides

Here at WOW Scotland, we only employ guides who are passionate and enthusiastic about Scotland, and who strive to give our guests a worldclass experience.  Our aim is to ensure that every customer leaves Scotland with a smile on their face, having had their expectations exceeded, and having had the best tour they have ever experienced.

  2. Tour to suit you

The Highlands offer a huge variety of attractions, so we offer a huge variety of tours to reflect this! Whether you fancy an awe-inspiring journey to the Misty Isle of Skye, a day sampling drams in Speyside or an exquisite taste of everything Highland, we have a carefully crafted itinerary which will suit you! Just browse our website, and see what takes your fancy (warning; it can be very difficult to choose from such an amazing selection!)

  3. Excellent reputation

Since 2010 we have been consistently rated as “excellent” on TripAdvisor, we have been awarded an annual Certificate of Excellence from them every year since then (which puts us in the top 10% of tourism businesses worldwide) and are currently the number 1 activity in Inverness.   We would encourage you to read the great reviews if you have any doubts about how much fun our customers have on our tours!

We are also members of well-established tourism bodies such as Visit Scotland and Visit Loch Ness – feel free to check out their respective websites to check our credentials!

  4. Entertaining music

What could be more enjoyable than driving through the Highland countryside whilst listening to some great Scottish music. We play a whole host of music, from modern day foot stamping ceilidh to more mellow traditional songs – choose what genre you would like, or perhaps you may just want to sit back in peace and quiet and watch the fabulous scenery go by.

  5. A taste of Scotland

As one of our guests said on Trip Advisor, Gordon can swiftly whisk you away to the best cake shop within a 100 mile radius, for Gordon knows at least as many cake shops as there are lochs in Scotland!” We are pleased to say that this is indeed the case, and we always strive to ensure that we take our guests to great local restaurants and cafes for great local food, ensuring that you get a true taste of Scotland.

  6. Only the best

Over the last five years we have continually strived to improve our tours, in line with customer requests and feedback, in order to ensure that we are offering the best possible experiences to our customers. Consequently, we are confident that our tour itineraries ensure that you see the absolute highlights of the area, and only visit attractions that work with us to offer outstanding customer service.

  7. Seamless service

Here at WOW, we want to make your holiday, and the planning for that holiday, as relaxing as possible. Consequently, from the moment you land on our website to the moment we drop-you off at the end of your tour, we will strive to provide you with the highest level of customer care. What does this mean? It means a customer-friendly website, timely and clear communication, a state-of-the-art booking system, a secure online payment system, a fair cancellation policy and, key to this, the reassurance that you will only ever deal with Kay or Gordon (it’s our business, so we really care about our customers!)

  8. Great for families

We welcome children over six on most of our group tours. If you have children under the age of six then please contact us about taking a private tour – although most of the tours described on our website involve quite a bit of driving, this does not have to be the case, and we can offer plenty of alternatives if you don’t want to keep your kids cooped up all day!  We will gladly  tailor your tour so that you get to see the best of the Highlands, whilst your children have fun tree climbing, stone skimming or wildlife spotting!

  9. Open and honest

We take you places because we think they are great – not because they incentivise our guides to take guests there. That said, we are partial to accepting the odd cup of tea and chocolate biscuit when it’s offered!

  10. We Love Scotland

We can genuinely say that we love Scotland, and absolutely everything about it!! White sand beaches, windswept summits, Neolithic history, unique biodiversity, outdoor activities, remote country roads, Celtic rock music, friendly folk, a thriving cultural scene, pubs galore….the list is endless, and we are proud to live in work in such an amazing country.  We want to showcase Scotland to the world – come and join us and you will not be disappointed.
