Our commitment to you: Your contract is with WOW Scotland (hereinafter referred to as “WS” or “we” or “us”) of 28 Craigard Terrace, Inverness, United Kingdom. All tours you book are organised by us and are sold subject to the following conditions.
1.Booking
To confirm your booking you are required to provide full payment for you tour/or a £100 deposit (as stated). The balance must be paid immediately and failure to do so may result in the cost being increased or ultimately cancellation. Upon receipt by us of your payment the contract between us will becoming binding. All prices (unless stated) are quoted in pounds sterling. Payment is accepted via credit and debit card, UK cheque or bank transfer. If a deposit has been received, full payment must be made 4 weeks prior to your trip.
2.Cancellations
Any cancellation must be notified in writing by the person who made the booking. If you cancel your trip
a)More than 30 days prior to the tour you will be refunded 50% of your tour price (deposits are non-refundable).
b)Less than 30 days prior to your tour or on or after commencement of the tour no refunds will be given although a discretionary partial refund may be given if we are able to resell your day.
c)All deposits are non-refundable
Note: We appreciate the wholly unforeseen events my result in cancellation (e.g volcanic eruptions, bad weather, illness, injury.) We therefore strongly advise you to take out insurance against irrecoverable cancellation costs.
3.Changes/Cancellation by WOW Scotland
Before you enter into a contract with us, we reserve the right to change any of the facilities, services or prices described in our brochure of website. We also reserve the right to cancel your tour should injuries, accidents, illness and other unexpected events occur. In this event we will refund you fully and offer you alternative dates if possible. We will refund all payments made directly to us in respect of the tour. We will not however be in a position to refund any personal expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as flight payments, other travel costs and accommodations expenses.
4. Changes by the client
If a client, after booking onto a trip and paying a deposit and/or full payment, would like to change on to an alternative date, an additional administration fee of £50 is charged. If the trip originally booked starts within 4 weeks of the request to change trips being made, any such change may be treated as a cancellation by the client, in which case the cancellation conditions in section 2 will apply.
5.Information
Any information provided by WS on such matters as climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment etc. is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of WS.
6.Medical Conditions
If you are affected by a medical condition which may affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the tour, you must advise this at the time of booking.
7.Liability
Whilst WOW Scotland holds public liability insurance, we cannot be liable for any losses caused due to a later than anticipated arrival back from a trip (e.g missed departures).
8.Adventure Travel and Client Responsibility
It is a fundamental booking condition that you accept the hazards involved in this sort of trip and you accept that in visiting remote and mountainous regions there is an element of on-tour flexibility. The itinerary stated is indicative only and not a guarantee that a particular route will be followed or place reached. You must acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results, such as inconvenience and discomfort, are possible where unforeseen circumstances arise. You must have a level of fitness commensurate with your chosen trip and you are responsible for bringing the appropriate equipment, details of which will be sent to you at the time of booking. If, in the opinion of the WS staff, your fitness or equipment may compromise the safety of a trip we reserve the right to cancel your tour. In these circumstances you will not be entitled to a refund nor compensation.
